Welcome to our newly incorporated company. This blog post is the celebration of the formation of this business which has been the result of several years of hard work and experience across multiple industries with the aim of bringing a design and development solution to market, the likes of which has always been previously unavailable to small and medium sized enterprises, let me share with you our vision, one which we hope involves you.

CBE has been specifically set up to give small to medium sized eneterprises, like yours, opportunities that have historically fallen outside of what's been economically or operationally feasilble, our focus has been and will always be staying small and flexible enough to give you, the customer, the opportunities that consultancy and contracting should offer you, it is for this reason that we don't offer 'packages' or 'fixed hourly rates' if all you need is some extra bandwidth for some CAD or drawing work, why should you pay premium consultancy rates?, also, if your project is more complex and requires a small amount of composite component design alongside some QMS advice or design, why pay for two separate consultants or contractors when we can tailor our time offering split between the two specialities in a ratio to fit you perfectly.

Communication and Location

Our belief here at CBE is that effective communication is essential to delivering the high levels of service we expect of ourselves and it's for this reason that we want to 'break the mold' in this area, no matter where you are located in the UK we will guarantee a face to face consultation at the beginning of the project at NO cost to you, we live in a world of phone calls, emails and video conferencing which, whilst effective communication methods, don't in our belief, offer the chance to build the personal, fluid relationship required to deliver projects in the most efficient manner, an email or a phone call won't let you react to and interract with people in the most natural way and we here at CBE strongly believe that a handshake is the best way to start any relationship, business or otherwise and for now, the only way to do that is to meet (although check out some of our work in the haptics industry, that may soon change!).

Get Inspiration from outside the box

One of our company's talents which we pride ourselves on is the wide and varied experience which allow us to bring in technologies, techniques and ideas from a number of other industries into yours, solving problems in ways which wouldn't otherwise be considered by veteran engineers in any one specific field, we have experience in high volume, low margin product design and manufacture alongside our extensive knowledge of low volume, high margin products in industries as far ranging as HVAC to Medical or even Automotive to Mixed Reality, all of these industries have their own specialties, their own standards to follow and their own 'go to' designs and techniques for solving problems, what makes us special is the ability to mix these together with advice, tips and tricks from our existing relationships to really focus in on the ideal solution for you and your business.
